Huub Dijstelbloem is Professor of Philosophy of Science and Politics at the University of Amsterdam and Senior Research Fellow at the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy in The Hague. His work includes studies on the politics of border control, mobility management and surveillance policies.

Dina Vaiou is Professor of Urban Analysis and Gender Studies at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of the National Technical University of Athens. Her work includes studies on the impact of mass migration on Southern European cities from perspectives that place the emphasis on feminist critiques of urban analysis.
